In Monday Night Football, the New York Jets defeated the Buffalo Bills 22-16 in overtime, but lost newly acquired, iconic quarterback Aaron Rodgers on their first offensive drive of the game as he suffered what appeared to be an Achilles injury. If an MRI confirms that diagnosis today, it almost certainly means that Rodgers will not play again this season, and the Jets will again turn to their 2021 first round draft pick Zach Wilson, who Rodgers was supposed to replace and mentor.
