As is my custom at this time of year, I'm going to take the week before Labor Day off, and am going to start a little early - MNB will be on hiatus starting tomorrow, August 25, and will return on Tuesday, September 5.
However, because I got a nice response to doing the same thing earlier this summer, while I'm off I am going to file daily FaceTime videos about a variety of off-the-beaten-path subjects that offer business lessons to retailers. (I don't want you to forget me, and I don't want you to think I've forgotten you.) I'll shoot you a Wake Up Call to let you know that they're up. (Not on Labor Day, though.)
As always, the MNB archives are open, and if anything big breaks, I'll find my way back to the laptop to offer timely news and commentary.
