ColoradoDaily.com reports that the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has at long last filed a motion to dismiss the two-year-old court case it brought against Whole Foods, bringing to a close its efforts to derail the retailer’s acquisition of Wild Oats.
The two sides came to an agreement several months ago that will have Whole Foods selling 31 Wild Oats stores, 19 of which are closed, in exchange for the FTC stopping its legal actions against the retailer.
