• Bloomberg reports that Larry Johnston, the former CEO of Albertsons, has resigned from the Home Depot board of directors, citing “increasing demands on his time.”
Johnston was appointed to the board by Robert Nardelli; both Johnston and Nardelli come out of General Electric. Nardelli was deposed by Home Depot earlier this year in part because of compensation issues; Johnston was on the board’s compensation committee.
Nardelli currently is CEO of Chrysler.
