The folks at Hardee’s - on the heels of their recent Monster Thickburger and a salad with 1,100 calories – have now rolled out a new Country Breakfast Burrito, which USA Today describes as “two egg omelets filled with bacon, sausage, diced ham, cheddar cheese, hash browns and sausage gravy, all wrapped inside a flour tortilla. The burrito contains 920 calories and 60 grams of fat.”

No word on whether people who order it will be asked to sign a contract absolving Hardee’s of any legal responsibility for resultant medical problems.

Oy. I’m feeling ill just typing the words. (It was the sausage gravy that really pushed me over the edge.)

The only way this thing makes sense is if they offer a Lipitor chaser to everyone who orders it. And keep plenty of defibrillators on hand.
