The Washington Post reports on a possible new way to avoid skin cancer – combine strenuous exercise with caffeine consumption.

According to the story, the National Cancer Institute (NCI) has done research showing that when tested on mice, “the combination of exercise and caffeine increased destruction of precancerous cells that had been damaged by the sun's ultraviolet-B radiation.”

Scientists are quick to say, however, that the thesis has to be tested on human beings to see if it really works, and that for the time being, people should continue to wear sunscreen to avoid possible skin cancer occurrences.
