business news in context, analysis with attitude

Cadbury Schweppes has announced a new environmental strategy that is tied to absolute targets for carbon emission reductions – such as a 50 percent reduction in net absolute carbon emissions by 2010, a 10 percent reduction in packaging, the use of more environmentally friendly and biodegradable packaging, and the implementation of water reduction programs in areas that have been established as “water scarce.”
