• The Joplin Independent reports that PriceCutterOnline.com, the online grocery service that launched in Springfield, Missouri, last year, now is expanding to the Joplin market.
The service is offering wither delivery from Price Cutter stores, or the use of a parcel pick up window.
Response to the service in Springfield is described as “phenomenal,” which led to the expansion to a new market. It also is in keeping with national expansion trends; Jupiter Research has issued a report suggesting that online food shopping is likely to grow at the rate of better than 20 percent a year between now and 2010.
