The Boston Globe reports this morning that celebrity chef and TV personality Rachael Ray has signed on to be Dunkin’ donuts new pitchwoman.
According to the Globe, as the doughnut chain “looks to expand nationally and get beyond its doughnut heritage, Ray's philosophy of better-for-you food seems to make her ideal for the role.
“But she has baggage; there are websites where Ray-bashing is blood sport, and some demonize her as a poor person's Martha Stewart.”

We love Rachael Ray. We’ve been very open about that.
But she is risking over-exposure, and the inevitable “crash and burn” that follows.
