business news in context, analysis with attitude

We’re working on a project that could use a little broad-based input…so we’re wondering if we can pose a few questions to the MNB community…

1. How do you think consumers’ definition of convenience has changed in the past five years?
2. Can you think of specific ways in which your own personal definition of “convenient shopping” has changed in that time?
3. If you had to project out to, say, 2010, what do you think will be the single most important change the convenience store industry will have to make in order to remain relevant to consumers?

Thanks for your help…we’ll let you know how people answered these questions in the near future.
