When is a blog not a blog? When it’s a lie. Which is what Wal-Mart and its PR agency, Edelman Worldwide, got caught in recently when a pro-Wal-Mart blog was exposed as being bought and paid for. But even as responsibility was taken, there were other suggestions that it was just a new Internet animal for which the rules had not been adjusted…a suggestion with which MNB Content Guy Kevin Coupe takes issue.
