France-based Casino has signed an exclusive deal with Dunnhumby, the company that has gained a strong reputation for database analysis both in the UK and the US.

According to a statement released by Casino’s director of general merchandising, Jean-Michel Duhamel, "The creation of Dunnhumby France is an important strategic axe for the group. After having installed new supply chain structures, revamped the Casino private label and installed the 'excellence opérationnelle' programme in our stores, this will be a new stage in our strategy that will place the client at the heart of our organisation. We are very happy to benefit from the expertise of Dunnhumby in this domain."
