Yesterday, MNB reported on a new study suggesting that coffee intake may help fight Alzheimer’s disease. Today, there is a new study saying that a daily glass of pomegranate juice also could reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s.

There was some other product that we think was supposed to be good for preventing Alzheimer’s. But we forgot its name.
Actually, we got a number of emails responding to yesterday’s coffee story, all of which pointed to the same thing – that the study looked at mice that consumed the equivalent of five cups of coffee a day.
The emails all wondered how much coffee a human being would have to drink to make it equal the impact that five cups of coffee would have on a mouse.
We’ve done the math. And the answer is, roughly as much coffee as we drink before 10 am.
