Yesterday, MNB reported that Michigan was the first state to create a two-tier minimum wage with a smaller wage for kids under 18.
MNB user Jim Harrison pointed out: “Vermont currently has a $7.25 minimum wage; however high school students have long been exempt from the state law here. High school students are covered under the federal minimum, which is currently $5.15.”
We regret the error.
