Published reports say that Tesco will launch a print catalog next month that will offer electrical goods, garden products and home furnishings. Some 20 million are expected to be printed as a part of Tesco’s strategy of becoming the UK’s largest purveyor of nonfoods.

Tesco already sells such merchandise in its brick-and-mortar stores as well as on its website.

We remember years ago being impressed when we found out that Tesco was the UK’s largest seller of both gasoline and champagne, which spoke volumes about its breadth and depth as a retailer.
