• Pennsylvania-based Weis Markets reported fourth quarter sales of $601.9 million, up 12.1 percent from the same period a year earlier; Q4 same store sales were 4.7 percent. Net income for the quarter was $18.4 million, up 21.6 percent.

The company reported that its annual sales were $2.2 billion, up six percent from a year earlier, with same-store sales four percent. Net income for the year was $63.4 million, up 10.9 percent.
