Published reports say that Tesco has created an Apple zone in one of its superstores, selling a selection of Apple Macintosh computers, iPods and accessories. It is said to be the first time that Tesco has created a boutique for a single nonfood brand.

If the test works, Tesco’s goal will be to roll out the concept throughout the chain.
KC's View:
Not only is this a savvy move for Tesco as it takes advantage of Apple’s brand cachet, but it also has the potential of driving a lot of sales to Apple since Tesco generates more than ten percent of all the UK’s total retail sales.

For both companies, a mouthful.
