• The Sacramento Bee reports that Wal-Mart has decided to end its donation of almost-expired or expired food to local groups all over the country that give it to the hungry and homeless. Wal-Mart will now throw the food out, blaming the change in policy to concerns about legal liability if someone gets sick.
