• Mark Murry, the president of Grand Valley State University, has been named the new president of Meijer, succeeding Larry Zigarelli, who left the company late last year. Murry currently is a member of Meijer’s board of directors, and he will take over the new role once the college’s academic year has concluded.
• Laurie Zeitlin, senior vice president/CIO of FedEx Kinko’s, is joining Publix Super Markets in the same role. She succeeds the retiring Danny Risener.
• Larry Zettle, executive vice president/COO of Price Chopper Supermarkets, announced that he will retire at the end of the month after more than a half-century in the grocery business.
