• Pathmark Stores reported third quarter sales of 980.5 million, an increase of 0.1% from $979.9 million in the prior year's third quarter, with same-store sales off 0.6 percent. Pathmark also reported a net loss of $18.3 million in the third quarter of fiscal 2005 compared to a net loss of $3.6 million in the prior year's third quarter.
