As mentioned above, here in the US (for the benefit of our non-US readers) tomorrow is Thanksgiving Day, and the semi-official kickoff for the December holiday season (whichever one you happen to celebrate). Many of us take this as a four-day weekend…in part because we need Friday to recover from the various over-indulgences of Thursday.
Which means that MNB is going to take a brief holiday, and will return next Monday morning with our usual generous helping of news and healthy dollop of irreverence.
