- PepsiCo Inc. announced that Dave Burwick, chief marketing officer of PepsiCo North America since 2002, will move to the position of president of Pepsi-QTG Canada early next month. He succeeds Tom Bene as head of Pepsi's Canadian operations; Bene is returning to the North American business to lead its sales organization.
- The Jean Coutu Group has named company founder Jean Coutu as interim president and chief executive officer, effective immediately.
Former CEO Francois Coutu and Michel Coutu will remain presidents of the Canadian and American operations respectively.
