In an interview for the November 7 issue of Fortune, Martha Stewart says that when Kmart was filing for bankruptcy in 2002, she toyed with the idea of buying the retailer – with which she has a deal to sell many of her eponymous products.
Of course, that was before she went to jail for lying about a stock transaction. Now she’s back, however, and trying to rebuild her brand through magazines and television programs.
