Down in Texas, the Express-News reports that HE Butt is opening a new 170,000 square foot store that company chairman/CEO Charles C. Butt describes as the “store of the future” in San Antonio – and it has four more locations picked out for similar units.
The store features “more than 40,000 nonfood items and expanded baby, beauty and party sections,” according to the paper. “New categories include entertainment, with more than 120,000 CDs, DVDs and video games.” And, it has “expanded meat and produce sections, boasting more than 120 organic items. Its Spoonz Café will feature a variety of cuisines, including food typically exclusive to Mexico.”
