The Chicago Sun Times reports that Safeway has promised to “aggressively remodel” its Dominicks stores in the Windy City region if the United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW) approves a new three-year contract that is on the table. A vote by the unionized employees is expected to be concluded by the end of the month.
