- Published reports in the UK say that George Davies – who created the “George” line for Asda and lately created and ran the Per Una fashion business for Marks & Spencer, has resigned from the company.
The split reportedly occurred because of a contractual disagreement between Davies and M&S CEO Stuart Rose.
