A new study by Information Resources Inc. (IRI) says that for manufacturers and retailers to be effective and competitive, they need to create brands that strike a lifestyle chord, are continuously revitalized in order to be relevant to customer needs, and that ultimately lower supply chain costs.
The survey, Courting The Consumer, rates “brand building” as being critical to growth by 44 percent of respondents.
