In the UK, William Morrison Supermarkets has gotten two unions to agree not to call a strike for at least seven days.

As reported earlier this week, under threat of strike at two of its warehouses, Morrison agreed to engage in collective bargaining with two unions that had expressed concern about the possible layoffs.

The layoff issue hasn’t been resolved…but the clicking of the stopwatch as been stopped.
