  • MarketWatch reports that a new study by ComScore Media Metrix suggests that people who read web logs (better known as “blogs”) tend to be wealthier and younger than those who do not.

The study also said that one out of six Americans read a blog during the first quarter of the year, that 50 million US Internet users have visited blogs, and that blog readers are more likely to have broadband access to the Internet.

We knew that. After all, in a lot of ways, MNB is a blog…and was before they had even coined the term.

And if there is one thing we know about MNB users, it is that they are younger and smarter than most people. (They also have better taste and are generally better looking…though these conclusions are based on anecdotal evidence we’ve picked up in our travels.)
