The Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal reports that Let’s Dish, a company that helps customers prepare meals in a central facility that can then be frozen or chilled and then heated up at home for dinner, has raised $4 million that it will use for expansion purposes.
Let’s Dish currently has three company-owned locations in Minnesota and another scheduled to open there later this year. It also has four licensed locations -- two in Maryland, one in Virginia and one in Washington.
The investment money will be used for new corporate stores as well as for expanding its franchising operation.

This seems to be an expanding business model; we’ve heard of various versions of this concept opening all over the country.
