Wal-Mart’s Sam’s Club is selling on its website a pink diamond pendant worth almost a million dollars for the “every day low cost” of $560,000. The company also is offering a 27-carat yellow diamond ring for $610,000.

Selling such items has become a way for companies such as Costco and Sam’s to garner attention for themselves.

Wal-Mart says that the jewelry is being kept under “lock and key” in an undisclosed location in Bentonville, Arkansas.
