- Kroger Co. announced that it has revised downward its fourth quarter and annual losses for 2004, saying that it was able to reduce a goodwill impairment charge. Kroger now says it had a fourth-quarter loss of $648.3 million, compared to the $675.9 million announced initially, and a full-year loss of $100.4 million, compared to the $128 million previously announced.
