Just as Mireille Guiliano’s "French Women Don't Get Fat: The Secret of Eating for Pleasure" hits best-seller lists in the US, there is a report from the French government saying that unless the French change their current consumption habits, by the year 2020, they'll be as obese as Americans.

It’s nice to know that the US still can serve as a benchmark for the rest of the world.

Guiliano’s book still makes sense because she’s referring to an old-world way of eating in France…but unfortunately, her way of doing things may be dying out.
