Marks & Spencer in the UK reportedly has decided to appeal to male shoppers – or at least the male companions of female shoppers – by creating sections in some of its stores that offer guys couches to sit on, televisions to watch, video games to play, and drinks and snacks of which to partake.
KC's View:
Finally…a chain that understands how to appeal to men.

Now, if they really “get it,” M&S will find a way to parlay that into new sales by demonstrating to those guys that they can substantially ease their shopping challenges.

And then, other retailers will take note and start doing the same sorts of things.
