  • Internet Retailer reports that while continues to lag behind both eBay and Amazon in terms of site traffic, it is in fact picking up the pace with some noticeable gains.

    For the week ending November 21, for example, had 3.93 unique visitors…which put it behind eBay’s 17.8 million and Amazon’s 8.6 million unique visitors. However, that represents quite a gain for Wal-Mart’s site, which was ranked seventh back in May and fourth just a month ago.

If you have any doubt that Wal-Mart wants to dominate the e-commerce category, think again. Being third isn’t in Wal-Mart’s playbook.
