USA Today reports that Kraft Foods plans to announce today a plan that will tie the South Beach Diet seal of approval to some 200 SKUs – ranging from Jell-O to a variety of cheeses - that the company says will be low in carbohydrates and fats.

- The paper also notes that the South Beach Diet has been popularized by folks such as Nicole Kidman and Bill Clinton…though after the latter’s recent open heart surgery, the people at South Beach may want to downplay that particular connection.
