- Albertson's, Inc. announced this morning that Paul T. Gannon, most recently the president/CEO of its Shaws division in New England, has been named the corporation’s Chief Marketing Officer, effective immediately.
- Kal Raman, the former CEO at Drugstore.com, has joined Amazon.com as senior vice president of its "hard-lines" division, overseeing consumer electronics, PCs, wireless and tools, and other products – a category that grew 56 percent in the fourth quarter over the same period a year ago.
Amazon owns 16.3 percent of drugstore.com.
