USA Today reports that "no outsourcing" is the latest marketing ploy being used by companies wanting to appeal to customers concerned about US jobs being shipped overseas.
In fact, consumers are even "compiling Web sites that track which employers outsource overseas, which means they hire workers in other countries to do jobs typically held by U.S. employees. And some businesses are letting clients request that work not be farmed out to overseas workers."
Companies that don't outsource are dubbed "patriotic" by many of these sites.
According to the story "US employers will move about 3.3 million white-collar jobs and $136 billion in wages abroad"…up from $4 billion in wages in 2000.

- For the record, MNB doesn’t outsource. We're 100 percent made in the USA…except, of course, when we're reporting from abroad.
