McDonald's has announced that, in an effort to create a healthier image for its fast food offerings, it will phase out its supersized French fries and soft drinks by the end of the year.
Super Size fries reportedly contain 610 calories, 29 grams of fat (five of them saturated), 390 milligrams of sodium and 77 grams of carbohydrates.
The company also announced that it will cut in half the size of a dessert Parfait, will switch in one-percent-fat milk for two-percent, and will start selling Coke's Dasani brand of water exclusively.
