- Winn-Dixie Stores announced the appointment of Paul Novak as the company's Chief Development Officer, responsible for all of Winn-Dixie's real estate, design and construction efforts. He joins the company on March 1, 2004 and will report directly to Winn-Dixie President and CEO Frank Lazaran.
- Smart & Final Inc. said yesterday that its COO, Etienne Snollaerts, will succeed Ross Roeder as CEO in two months.
Roeder will remain chairman of the board of directors.
