Lukoil Oil Co. of Russia has agreed to acquire 795 gas stations in New Jersey and Pennsylvania from ConocoPhillips for $265.75 million, doubling the Russian company's market share in the northeastern US.
Lukoil already owns some 2,000 gas stations in the US, including 1,300 in the northeastern US that it acquired about four years ago from Getty. The company has a total of more than 4,700 service stations around the world.
