For the first 40 weeks of fiscal 2004, the company reported net sales of $15.2 billion compared to $14.5 billion last year, and net earnings of $184.5 million compared to $193.1 million last year.
- Con Agra Foods reported second quarter net income of $270.1 million, compared with $235.8 million in the same period last year. Sales were $3.8 billion, compared with $4.5 billion for last year's second quarter.
