In the final game of a best-of-five Major League Baseball Divisional Series, the Boston Red Sox held on in a nail-biter to defeat the Oakland Athletics 4-3.

The Sox will now face the New York Yankees in the American League Championship Series, beginning at Wednesday night.

The National League Championship Series begins tonight, with the Chicago Cubs facing off against the Florida Marlins.

It doesn't get any better than this.



And, in Monday Night Football action, in what is being called the greatest comeback ever in a professional football game, the Indianapolis Colts surged from a three touchdown deficit with just four minutes left to play in regulation to tie up the game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and then win it in overtime. 38-35, on a 29-yard field goal.
