The Detroit Free Press reports this morning that the various firms that consulted with Kmart during its 15-month bankruptcy reorganization have submitted bills that total $138 million.

These bills will be reviewed by a fee committee, which will recommend to the bankruptcy court which bills should be paid and in what amounts.
KC's View:
Be nice if all the shareholders and laid-off employees who got screwed by Kmart could submit bills for their costs. But life just doesn't work that way.
