  • Despite the fact that the email clutter popularly known as spam (ignoring outraged entreaties by Hormel) has raised hackles among virtually anyone with an email address, a new study suggests that three-quarters of respondents say they plan to increase their e-mail marketing volume. Another 12 percent say they plan to keep their email marketing at present levels, while 12 percent say they will reduce their spam output.



  • A new survey in the UK reveals that two thirds of those polled believe that men hog Internet access on computers, that 64 percent of respondents would rather give up chocolate than give up the Internet, and that eight percent of those polled would prefer to give up their life partners than give up access to the Internet.
