USAToday reports this morning that in a bid to improve its fashion image and prove even more attractive to younger consumers, Wal-Mart is adding various apparel lines to its stores in time for the back-to-school season.

Included in the additions are a Levi denim line and a range of sexier lingerie by Hanes Her Way, in addition to the existing and expanding George private label line.
KC's View:
We understand the connection between the Levi jeans and back-to-school, but if our daughter were to tell us that she needs sexier underwear when she returns to school in the fall, we're going to have some serious questions.

One other thing. How come Wal-Mart won't sell magazines with "racy" covers, but will sell "sexier lingerie"?
