Nash Finch announced that it has opened its fourth Avanza store in Colorado market, targeted at serving the area's fast-growing Hispanic population.
"The opening of our Avanza Supermarket in Pueblo, Colorado illustrates our continued commitment to serve the Hispanic community," Ron Marshall, CEO of Nash Finch said. "Customer response to all of our stores has been positive, our partnership with each community continues to strengthen, and we remain excited about the momentum generated by the Avanza format".
According to recent Census data, there are some 40 million Hispanic citizens in the US, making it America's largest ethnic group.
