Marsh Supermarkets announced that it has bought the last Mr. D's Fresh Food Market, in Bloomington, Indiana, for an undisclosed price, and will convert the store to its O'Malia's banner.
Mr. D's sold two of its three stores to Marsh last January, and the Dietel family that owned the business planned to hang onto the final store. But tough market conditions changed, and the decision was made to sell the final store in a company that served the area for a quarter-century.
