A regular consumer confidence survey taken by ABC News/Money Magazine reveals that consumers are feeling better about the economy, though there’s a long way to go before the index gets back into positive numbers.

While everyone we know is hoping that success in Iraq will lead to instant economic turnaround, the reality is that there probably are going to be a lot more ups and downs to this situation for the foreseeable future.
