Fortune magazine’s annual list of the “most admired” companies in America, achieved through a poll of executives, directors, and analysts, reveals that Wal-Mart is in the top spot, replacing General Electric as the US’s most admired company. It is, Fortune reports, “the first time in our survey's history that the nation's largest company is also its most admired.”
